Who Cares?
Fishery groups, economic development organizations, municipal councils, tourism associations, businesses, First Nations, recreational organizations, environmental groups and politicians are speaking up. Some are standing firm on no pipe. Some asked for a thorough environmental assessment on Northern Pulp's proposed wastewater treatment facility and their plan to continuously dischargeeffluent directly into the Northumberland Strait.
